Colleen
is the director and owner of the Dancin'
Feet Dance School. She has been dancing for over
thirty years and teaching for over twenty. Colleen has
performed extensively and has received many distinguished
honors both as a performer and teacher. Colleen
has her dance teaching certificates through Dance Masters
of America and The National Clogging Organization.
She is also a state representative for the Professional
Dance Teachers Association. Colleen has danced
professionally as the lead dancer and dance captain for a
show in Nashville called Country Music USA and is on
the teaching staff for the National Clogging Organization.
Colleen also teaches weekly dance classes and runs the
Dancin' Feet performance teams.
Sara
has been dancing for over 17 years. She has
participated in many dance events and organizations
including being the captain and head of choreography
for the Blaine High School. Sara has a BA in
Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of
Minnesota Duluth where she was a dance team member for four
years and the captain for two years.
Lora
started dancing at Dancin' Feet in 1996. She has been teaching classes since
2001. She received her C.L.O.G.
certification of education in 2004 and her National
Certified Clogging Instructor Certification in 2007.
She currently teaches tap, jazz, ballet, clogging, jump rope,
and hip hop. She also teaches several performance teams.
Lora has also been a member of the Dancin’ Feet performance
teams and a Dance Assistant. She has performed at a variety of places including
the county and state fairs, Timberwolves games, and in
Nashville Tennessee. Lora is currently completing her
Associates Degree in Science and Business at Anoka Ramsey
Community College. She will transfer this spring to Metropolitan State
University to obtain her Bachelors of Science Degree in
Marketing. Lora also teaches community education classes for
Anoka Hennepin School District 11.
Danielle
is currently a student at Anoka Ramsey Community College.
She is pursuing a degree in education. Danielle has been with Dancin' Feet for six years.
Danielle received her C.L.O.G. certification of education
in 2007. She also teaches
community education classes and is a child care
assistant for Anoka Hennepin School District 11.
My
name is Kim. I am 15 years old and currently a
sophomore at Coon Rapids High School. I have one older
sister. I have been dancing for 5 years. I have
been on a few of the performance teams for clogging and
jazz. Before dancing, I played basketball for three
years. This will by my 4th year as a Dance Assistant
at Dancin' Feet.
Hi,
I'm Megan. I am a senior at Coon Rapids High School
this year. I have been dancing for 7 years. I
have been involved in tap, jazz, clogging and Irish dance.
I was also part of the Coon Rapids Dance Team. I have
two little sisters who dance at Dancin' Feet and all three
of us dance with both Mom and Dad at the recital at the end
of the dance year! This is my first year as an
Assistant Teacher here at Dancin' Feet and I am super
excited for this year!
Hi,
I'm Madi. I am 14 years-old. I am a freshman at
Elk River High School. I have been dancing at Dancin'
Feet since I was three years-old. I have taken tap,
ballet, lyrical, hip-hop and clogging. I have two
younger sisters that also dance at Dancin' Feet and a
younger brother. In my spare time, I like to shop and
hang out with friends. I am also on the Elk River
Girls Soccer Team. This is my first year that I am a
Dance Assistant and I am so excited to get started.
Hi,
my name is Mariah. I am 12 years-old and I am going
into 7th grade. I live in Andover and I go to Oak View
Middle School. I've been in dance for 6 years. Other
than dance, I like to play volleyball, softball and
horseback riding. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
This is my first year as a Dance Assistant.
